lucasl
Hello im going to be changing my cambelt soon with the help of a mechanic using autodata. I was wondering if its worth getting an aftermarket cambelt like a Greedy one seeing as they are similar price to an oem one, i have seen some cam belt kits for the supra that they come with a new tensioner pulley im guessing this is def needed? I was also going to replace the serpintine belt, is there anything else that would be a good idea to replace when doing this job. Any help or advice on this would be great. thanks
Ian W
stick with the stock cambelt mate, a Toyota one is easily good enough.

Gadget
i have seen some cam belt kits for the supra that they come with a new tensioner pulley im guessing this is def needed? Had my cambelt change bout a month ago, only just had the tensioner changed because i had some play in the bearing, quite expensive for the tensioner as their hydrualic, then Toyota sent me the wrong on so i had alot of messing around just to fit a tensioner. I think it was worth changin but its personal prefrence (unless its faulty)
Jake
Gadget, I think Lucasl is talking about the Idler Pulley (A) and you are talking about the hydraulic tensioner (B).
