I've narrowed it down to this: Front: 225/50 16 Rear: 245/45 16 OR 245/50 16 Can anyone confirm which is the correct rear tyre size? What does the 2nd number (e.g. 45 or 50) actually signify? On the rear of an NA the standard size is either 225/50/16 or 245/45/16 (both are standard sizes iirc) The 50 or 45 bit is the Aspect Ratio and represents the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width. Graham, I've noticed that my tyres don't give the best of grip in the wet: do you reckon they're non-standard? (I bought the car with those on).
