hiten55
someone should invent an sms enabled immobilizer just text to cut the engine Think Clifford just beat you to it mate http://www.caralarmuk.com/acatalog/Clifford_G5_Accessories.html It costs around £300 (maybe a group buy if anyone has the right links??) It texts you when the alarm sounds but you can also text it back with different codes to cut the engine etc. Plus its programmed to only allow texts from your mobile. sounds like a worthy investment to me. Just need a supra to put it in - what a good excuse to get one

pistonbroke
So at what point does this become theft? When you're a bloody unconscious mess on the floor and the keys are removed from your pocket? Well, in law, that is robbery, Defenition -> A person is guilty of robbery if he/she: • Steals and immediately before or; • At the time of doing so, and in order to do so, he uses force on any person, or • Puts or seeks to put any person in fear of being then and there subjected to force. Reference: Section 8 (1) of the Theft Act 1968 So if they threaten violence to appropriate property, they have commited the offence, and as you can see, its part of the theft act, so its theft. Thats it, lesson over for today. Dazla, you need to tell your mate to get back onto his insurance company, they owe him 10 large.
