ChrisSZ
Just finished a weekend of engine swap:d If it weren't for this forum and the good guys on here it probably would never have happened (or else cost me an arm and a leg) Luckily, I was able to get a complete replacement lump off absxxx (cheers again dude) at a very reasonable price. I was also able to persude Migster, Dave F and Stupra ( )to come over and spend the last couple of days whipping one knackered engine out (the easy bit) and replacing it with the working lump:D We had one or two slight problems getting all the bits to go in all the right places but a plentiful supply of cold beers and a barbeque running in the garage seemed to help things along nicely:d All I need to do now is get the rust off the discs, bed the new pads in and I will also be able to enjoy my UK brakes. Looks like I'm gonna have to renew my membership :d

stupra
Was a real good crack Chris, I enjoyed myself and learnt a bit too. The fact that it started up first turn of the key is a brilliant feeling . Anyway, was glad to help mate, and it was good getting stuck in (a bit anyway ), with everyone else, its what its all about aint it ?. Well done to all. . ChrisSZ
so did you replace the NA with a turbo or NA ? Stuck an N/A block back in mate - to go turbo would have (a) cost me a bloody fortune and (b) cost me my bollox when the wife found out:d (I'm not allowed a turbo (yet)) :d Stu, Dave, Mig A somewhat daunting task made so much easier by your help and support - and best of all no problems with the sausages LOL (told you they were cooked!!)
