Marty
Well done Homer, glad you got there in the end. I'm sure you said a few choice words over the past few days like .... 'oh dear i seem to have taken all the skin off my knuckle when the spanner slipped' ?

Bob
If I'd seen this earlier I'd have pointed out that, if using decent spanners and ratchets, you can get the ring end of a 14mm spanner over the nut, then put the 1/2" ratchet in the other end of the spanner for more leverage and really easy off-in-one-attempt removal. But I didn't, so I won't
_Rob_
Are these 3 bolts the same on UK spec tubbies?
Homer
Yeah, cheers bob Are these 3 bolts the same on UK spec tubbies? No, the UK has 4 bolts, see JohnK's guide here for UK spec removal: http://www.efter-stormen.net/gosingle/
Soonto_HAS_soop
I put a spanner on these nuts and then used a 2' long piece of 2x2 and hit them with a hammer, worked fine.....
Graham S
Good idea is to put another spanner on the end of the first spanner if you know what i mean, so you have the ring end of the second spanner (the one your holding) onto the open end of the spanner on the nut! Hope that helps for someone in future! Have fun Daryl!
