garetheves
Thats gonna be a nice system, some nice bits of kit there. Think you could do with a slightly bigger heatsink though

V
Alex, The cooler looks very nice - a shame to cover it up. At least you can secure it with the mother board off. Done mine with just the small Katana. The spanner they give you looks like it didn't even make it as a Christmas cracker toy!! V PS. Oh it worked you can hear it, but its very minimal and it keeps the temps down well in the low 40's. PPS. Hope you sell your other PC.
Alex
I can't get over the size of the frickin thing...Just learn't a lesson - you can't get the cooler on once the MB is in the case...doh As you can see it will have NO excuse for running hot!! Glad yours worked Steve!! For anyone interested the case is the Antec P180B featuring seperate air chambers and quiet 120mm fans. The heatsink is the Scythe Ninja Rev.B. geoffvalenti
I've built a fair few systems in my time, but I just can't see with the size of that heatsink, that you're going to have enough room for the bananas

Alex
are going to run all 3 fans..... yep It's quieter than the old system with it's 80mm fans. The funny thing is after it being on for 6hrs...the heatsink still isn't warm! Time to up the clock speeds PS the old system I'm selling can come with a wireless logitech keyboard too....and can come pre-installed with XP Sp2.
