boombastictiger
Hi I have a slight feeling my clutch is on the way out, when I put my foot down the revs went up but the car speed didnt really then it suddenly grabbed and suddenly jumped...noticed this was increasing the longer i was driving. Also noticed it tended to take its time biting the higher the gears were whenever i put my foot down. Has my clutch gone? or on its way out, or is it something else... ANd more importantly I guess, how much is a new clutch fitted on an NA?
Kranz
Yes, the clutch is going. Don't know how much though. A search should reveal whet's out there.

spidermonkey
I had mine done on a tt for £400 hope this helps
Clarkey
The clutch will start to go from the higher gears downwards. For a TT clutch friction disk - £88. Not sure, if the NA & TT friction disks are the same tho. Budget on a flywheel too if it's the original.
Mas
I would post a thread in WANTED section and hopefully someone has one to get you sorted mate. sorry to hear that anyway.
Nic
Driving with a slipping clutch generates a lot of heat, which could damage the flywheel. If it has started to slip it will quickly get worse, change the clutch ASAP.

boombastictiger
on a N/A, manual
Nic
If it's slipping already, you're probably best buying locally as I would need to order the clutch parts from Japan which would take a few weeks. If you are able to wait then let me know and I'll sort you out a good deal.
