Mas
I would say as long as he has a verified paypal account then deal with him otherwise dont bother. I sold things in ebay last month and after 14 days they reversed the money out of my account so if you dont want to lose your phone aswel as the money then make sure he has a verified paypal account. ask him if he has one and the only way you deal with him is that. I wouldnt touch it, my friend sold a phone on ebay a couple of weeks ago to someone abroad, she ended up losing her computer for a couple of days as it was a dodgy transaction, better off sticking to people in this country! I posted a thread about this while agi when the buyer reversed my money out of my account and still nothing:(
CJ
I would disagree. I think paypal and ebay are shit whether you are the buyer or seller. I have recently bought a phone on Ebay, paid via paypal and am yet to recieve it despite waiting 7 days. I have now entered it as a dispute with Paypal but unless the twat has money in his account, i doubt paypal will do anything. Rant over

silvershark44
He could be using a Hacked ebay account, in which case the money from the cred card transaction can be reversed. Get the money in your paypal account, then immeadiately transfer it to your bank account. It will take 6 days to credit, then send the phone. As you are sending it a long way he wont know you are stalling doing this as postage that far can take a long time sometimes. If you just get it in your paypal account, the transaction can be reversed if the credit card payment turns out to be fraud. Be careful, as mobile phones on ebay are currently the biggest scam! Pabs
I've never once had a problem with ebay or paypal, myself being the buyer or seller. I have feedback of over 250, 100% positive. That said, it can happen. If you let them bid, and they don't cough up the dosh, sell it to the 2nd highest bidder. Other thing - once the money is in your paypal account - get it transferred to your proper bank account pronto. That way it can't be reversed out afterwards. If its under £50, it'll cost you to do this though.

Yes, my mate had the same problem. someone was selling stuff through his account, and he had to pay all the sellers fees.
