GOGS
getting a knocking noise from the front end of the car. at motorways speeds or smooth roads, its great not a peep, but going over bumpy roads or even just a single pot hole it rattles its head off. any one else had this problem? SilverSoop
it could well be your cv joint or your cv boot knocking, does it do it when you turn aswell, left and right?? Homer
Check the sub frame bolts are torqued up correctly, also check the conditions of the drop links. Failing that it could well be a faulty damper. Silversoop, it can't be CV joints if the knocking is from the front.
GOGS
everything has been tightened up. got it checked out on wednesday/thursday, cant remember lol. the guy that had a look at it is a toyota specialist. he reckoned that supra's are bad for ball joint but he can only check it if he strips it apart. it doesnt do it on motorways, but only bumpy roads. it just does it randomly. i can drive at 10mph, turn a corner and it wont do it. i could drive at 30mph turn a corner and it clunks. its starting to annoy the hell outta me. just hoping someone else has had a similar fault and know what it may be
