Racelogic question again.

With the clocks going back I've flipped RLTC to WET and I'll leave it like that until it gets warm again.

I've noticed that it seems to be cutting in, even in the dry. I'm getting those RL pulses when accelerating briskly and they are very noticeable on pulling away at junctions.

*side note here* Pulling out of work this evening the back end did a wiggle without RL acting. I'm assuming it was cold tyres and the white hatchings I was crossing that caused this. Thoughts? *end of side note*

I'm using a Terminator designed strict winter setting so I'm assuming that this is typical behaviour with the unit being very pro-active and not a fault.

Any thoughts?

I find I've left mine on Wet too = no slip for normal driving and I may dial in a bit of slip if I want to play. I've also found it coming in quite a lot even in the dry. The other day I was just part throttle in 2nd climbing a hill round a bend and it start to cut a lot, just goes to show sometimes there isn't as much grip as you might expect.

If you found yourself sliding without it cutting in, my suspicion is you were going too slow. RLTC has a min speed before it will cut in...

I've thought this myself and tested it out. With RL set to WET I get cuts as I would expect. Set it to 10% and I get nothing. The back end doesn't step out either!

Yes, of course. I'd forgotten about that.

Also, Terminator mentioned that even when set to WET (0%) it only goes that low when cornering. When you straighten up it goes up to 5%. So I'm assuming that you can straighten up from a corner while still maintaining so cornering momentum and catch the unit out.
