RobSheffield
On the bus to work this morning, 3 chavs at the back with a phone/mp3 player maximuim volume with some chav hardcore 'music' playing loud as possible!! Do they perhaps misunderstand the concept of a 'personal stereo'? Is this a Rotherham only thing (Rotherham has lots of unique points, especially with reference to chavs - none of the unique points are nice!) IDO
I'm from Rotherham It's not just a Rotherham thing either, I've seen kids walking around with music blaring out of their phones round Leeds too. I've seen it in leeds a wile back, thought i was safe back in london, until recently it started to happen on the buses and tubes with groups of chav's or hoddies.. most of the time it isn't the music that gets me... just the quality of the noise.. it seems to be really bad and "tinny".. like when someone is listening to earphones to loud.. god bless my ipod and noice canceling headphones!! Radio 1 though unfortunately, but still, fab sound! me too! it has the odd paint splatter, and both tape decks have given up the ghost, but the radio still works and I put my iPod radio link through it... still sounds OK after all these years... I sometimes thing I might give it an overhaul and get it back to it's former glory... but then my inner self slaps me and tells me to stop being a geek! Underworld
Yea I had some Chavs at the train station the other day. I could hear this weird singing, and basically they had a phone blasting out beats whilst one MC'd to it lol. You couldnt see his face because he had a hat on a hood up and some scarf. Looked like something outa Laurence of Arabia! What more there was no one around to impress there was those 2 me and some other youth looking confused.
