templewaters
hi guys i have a jspec tt which is bpu . fmic / boost controler / fuel pump / fuel cut off / everything i think. my problem is when i floor it, the exhaust becomes very very loud , not the normal sound when you floor it , its really loud . car is boosting as it should , but i feel i am loosing power when this happens. i have no leeks on my nur spec exhaust. after a while it returns to normal. nice sound as it should be. i am no expert. but could this be something to do with my waisgate. also i have a stock bov, is that the problem? thanks for the replys in advance. simon
colsoop
Do you have a boost gauge ? Whats it reading when the noise occurs. Is it at a set rpm / speed etc.
Tricky-Ricky
Sounds to me like you have a problem with the EGCV, are you noticing the louder exhaust note at low RPM?
