Bob
Just bought a full set of BKR7E's (6097) from this guy, at just under £14 delivered. Can't complain at that price! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&item=270036019731&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=
Jim_1979
ready to just be dropped straight in? Gap etc all correct? It says on the NGK part finder site that you should use these BKR6EP-11 on the Supra. Not the ones in the auction. Or am I being an eedgit??... lol. Bob
They're the same price from Halfords chaps... Ah well. I've been to the nearest 4 Halfords to me and none of them stocked these, and none at all in packs of six. The closest was for a pack of 4 (plugs for stock, can't remember number), and they were going at about £18.
Ric
you can get them singally in halfords

tDR
Use BKR7E's for BPU and if running up to 1.25bar boost, gap them to 0.9mm. BKR7E's are not pre gapped, but the as they come the gap tends to be around 1mm. If NGK use a number tag at the end of a product code, like BKR6E-11 for example, the number is the pre set gap guaranteed (1.1mm in this example). Even then I'd still check them with a set of feeler gauges though in case they'd been bashed on the electrode or whatever. BKR7E's are about £1.50 per plug where I go, but I do get trade discount. Cheers, Brian.
Ric
theres also a guide in technical for gappings etc.
Carl
So, how come I had to pay nearly £80 for the std recommended Toyota plugs when these are only a fraction of the price. Is there something really special on the stock platinum plugs? Carl
