iain2010
Firstly id like to say hello to everyone as im new here! Have only owned my supra for three months but am loving it!! I have just bought a HKS Super flow induction kit for my NA. I have been reading through the old threads and they seem to get really poor reviews! Is this right? I have to admit it sounds terrible when i first turn the car on!! I do like the induction roar of aftermarket induction kits so dont fancy putting on the stock airbox. Is there any filters that anyone has that they would recommend?
mikeyb10supra
Hi Bud and welcome apexi and K@N are the ones to go for if you really must, although it will offer no more gains over stock unless properly boxed and ducted correctly
iain2010
Hey! Thanks for that. Ive been looking at a heatshield would this be worth doing? I was thinking of using the HKS piping and just changing the Filter to an apexi one as i have heard they are good
Alex
If you must lose power then use an Apexi or K&N filter. Otherwise leave it well alone safe in the knowledge that the air filter isn't a restriction on a Stock NA.
