roboldham
Anyone any ideas on this - for my new supe. Which I am currently liking without spoiler, maybe, um, dont know, perhaps. I would like splitties, probably 18s - with the (thin) outer section looking milled with rivets around the circumfrance and the centre section matt or shiny black. The Lambo Diablo had something similar as an option I think. Anyone...? R

roboldham
Not sure - probably multispoke - but have an open mind. R
Guest Terry S
CCW in the US do some really nice light, mesh, that can have black centres. Perfect offset too

Wez
Hey Guys, I looked at these wheel as well but before you do anything read the threads on supraforums regarding fitment as they either require shaving a bit off the front caliper or fitting a spacer which then gives the problem that the studs are no longer long enough. I was looking to go with 18" front and 17" rear, gives a really aggressive stance. :flame Dev

Sharpie
18" F and 17" rear ? I have seen 20" R and 19" F in US. Why would you fit larger at the front and smaller at the rear ? more sidewall on the rear so, better traction ?
Wez
Think it is partly to do with that and also that you can get larger footprint without fouling arches etc as well. The 18" on the front apparently gives better response and turn in.

Guest Terry S
Wez I have direct contact to them. I am checking on fitment. I can't see an issue as they manufacture their own wheels, so there shouldn't be an issue.

Thats great Terry, if you can clear this up I will be very interested as they are a bargin price and pretty light, ideal for track days. Guest Terry S
Wez I have asked them on 18's. Do you know what sizes & widths you want mate?
Wez
I think front 18x10 285/30/18 and rear 17x11.5 315/35/17 sounds like a resonable setup. Check out :- http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=176335 If anyone has some input on staggering the wheel sizes thats would be great.
