DaveK
Stupid question I'm afraid. My new car has a single Sony head unit and a DIN blanking plate underneath. The blanking plate seems like a waste to me, so I've just ordered a cubbyhole / tray thing to replace it. So - when it arrives - how do I get the blanking plate out? I know that stereos usually just clip in - but the plate seems pretty solid - as if it's screwed in somehow?
Jake
Take the dash panels off first. A search on here will find you some step by step instructions. It's a piece of cake after the first time, only takes like 10mins.
