Getrag
Any feedback on these folks. A pal of mine is getting a loan, just wondering if they are any good. Typical 5.6% APR seems very good.
Sheefa
Not sure mate but Direct Line came up top trumps for me. I got a £14k loan over 3 years and final payback sum is only £14,760! Can't complain.

jim_supra
I recently got a loan from moneyback bank after getting refused by Northern Rock. which is odd as I have a perfect credit rating. They wouldn't tell me why I was refused either I have only just got the loan from moneyback bank, but so far they have been good, sent the documents i needed to sign next day, and payed the money into my account quickly aswell. and it is a very good interest rate! Sheefa
Yea, positive! I did have car insurance with them a wile back but no existing affiliances with DL. No idea why it was that cheap. The next cheapest was Marks and Spencers.

I'm with them, they are very cheap but when you put loan protection on you can end up paying back loads. I didn't want to put loan insurance on but then I dont know where I will be in few years so I didn't want to gamble. A bonus of going with them is that if the loan is for a car and it gets written off, they will pay the difference between the loan amount and insurance settlement if your insurers under pay you

I got a £4,500 loan over two years with payment protection, and the total payback figure is £5,328 so I am paying around £500 for the payment protection, but i wanted peace of mind should anything happen in the next two years. Snooze
APR? From Northern Rock, 5.9% - the best I could find for a relatively small (4k), short (2yr) loan.
