downimpact
This is an easy question but one i can't find if i search. I need to tighten up on of the nuts on my spoiler as it's a little loose and letting rain in This is accessed by taking off the plastic panelling on the boot lid. But how do you get the dam thing off I would have thought it just pulls off? But i've tried quite a bit of force and it doesn't want to come off and i'm wary of breaking plastic lugs. Any help? Cheers J
SteveL
Your right... it just takes a bit of will power and guts to pull the panel off. Make sure that where you are pulling is not flexing much - that way you know you are near a fixing. Theres a load along the front so you can start there and work your way round. Max Headroom
I got my plastic panel off by using a loong handled wooden spoon, starting from the bottom near the rear windscreen slowly edge the wooden spoon in next to the clip and whilst levering it give it a sharp tug. It will take a little bit of punishment and once you have the first couple off its easy. !!
_Rob_
once one lug is out, you can get your hand in there and pull the rest out quite easily. with fingers next to the lug, a good sharp push away from the boot lid gets em out.
