CJ
Those inquisitive punters were adoring fans - unfortunately, all big and hairy and of the masculine variety! T'was a pleasure dude - and great to see that all the hard work you did on yoru car (whilst you should have been doing mine) paid off in the end! Paul Laing
Nice one, it's good to see a UK Supra get such a good time, CRD's hit 10.3 today which was great but it's nice to see a car "built" in England can match those of America/Japan
Branners
I hear CRD ran 201mph top speed at Elvo as well, or did somebody hear that wrong? thanks JB
Paul Laing
Not sure John, we left at 2pm and it had only done 3 runs and none were top speed. It was also running ET Street tyres so i'm not sure if it would do 201mph on them. they might have changed the wheels mind, but i'm not sure on that one. Nice car mind, not looking wise but performance wise!!
Supraguy
Congrats John. Great time! Curious, how much boost were you running? What fuel? Cant wait to see it in action at Pod.
Paul Whiffin
Well done John, nice to meet you at last. My best of the day was 11.84 @ 131mph 2.058 60ft, can't get the thing to launch at all. I hit 133mph on one run so its definately got the power(on low boost) to get in the 10's. Good day out, better setup than Santa Pod I think. Paul Laing
Spoke to my mate just before, apparently the CRD Supra recorded a top speed of 201.6mph on one of it's runs, god i can't believe that like! Thats great
Paul Whiffin
I heard it was more than that, can't remember the exact figure, something like 210?
