Grazer
Got my new Nur Spec fitted, cheers Paul: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gcsimpson/2004_04_nurspec01_web.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gcsimpson/2004_04_nurspec03_web.jpg Couple of questions 1 - how do I remove the baffle - i see the nut on the bottom and inside, but a preliminary attempt to loosen it from underneath resulted in a lot of resistance, some slight chewing of the nut and me crapping it 2 - i was told by a few people that it would sit higher than the HKS Super Drager, and although it is higher at the back, when I look under the car it sits very low (2nd pic). The garage said there was nothing that could be done about this position. This worries me, as the Drager died from repeatedly hitting off the ground. JamesG
I took my baffle out before getting the exhaust fitted. Don't recall it being a problem. Just unscrew the nut fully and take it out. By the way, you won't want to put the baffle back in again Is your car lowered at all? Mine is on the standard suspension and the exhaust causes me no problems at all. I've driven on steep driveways and speedbumps and it hasn't grounded out at all. James.

TRD3000GT
Mate can you take some pics of the way it fits with the rubber holder on the can! I just got mine fitted and it sounds good but is hanging way to low + looks like a naf job! My hanging hook is just far to far to the right. :-) Originally posted by Grazer Got my new Nur Spec fitted, cheers Paul: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gcsimpson/2004_04_nurspec01_web.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gcsimpson/2004_04_nurspec03_web.jpg Couple of questions 1 - how do I remove the baffle - i see the nut on the bottom and inside, but a preliminary attempt to loosen it from underneath resulted in a lot of resistance, some slight chewing of the nut and me crapping it 2 - i was told by a few people that it would sit higher than the HKS Super Drager, and although it is higher at the back, when I look under the car it sits very low (2nd pic). TRD3000GT
I was talking to someone about how to make them sit higher. 1. You can bend the center arm that holds the center section down, this creates more upward force and holds the middle section slightly higher. 2. I think I might get a custom made complete de cat pipe made that will pull the front of the piping a little higher as well. just my 10 cents worth. Grazer
Good to know it can go up a bit - it scraped off the ground going into the garage which is quite steep, but it's going to have to do it every day There's a specialist exhaust place nearby - i think i'll visit and give them these suggestions (me + blow torch = disaster)
