kornboy119
Hi all, I was just wondering what the stock (I take it is a plastic) head gasket is like. I heard that they are not very good and tend to go after a while. I was also wondering what is the difference between the metal 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm gaskets, is it for the different engine types e.g NA and TT, or what. Cheers Dan

Matt Harwood
The different thicknesses are for a cheap way of lowering the compression ratio. I think the stock one is either 1.1 or 1.2mm, although I'm happy to be proved wrong?
