JamesG
Oh dear, you're probably all going to laugh at me but... how do you remove the big clips that hold on the radiator hose? I tried levering it with a big screwdriver but no luck, and i came quite close to putting a hole in my hand. I tried pliers as well but that was worse. I think I need something that levers it up enough so I can slide the pipe off. James.
SimonB
Well unless your clamps are different from mine, you just squeeze the tab bits together with a pair of pliers and wiggle the clamp off down the hose.
Jake
I find it easiest to use a pair of long nosed pliers, sideways rather than straight on, if you see what I mean.

Or I use pipe grips, you get more leverage and they normally have a large flat end.
