ManwithSupra
Im getting a bit annoyed with the old supe. Need some ol cheering up I think. Now it isn't problems with the Supe as far as reliability is concerned its fine - no problems runs like a dream and is fun to drive. However I have had the supe now for coming up to 1 1/2 years and I am beginning to get fed up with it. Not getting fed up with the looks as I think its the most sexy car for the money but getting fed up with the fact it attracts a lot of twats, all I want is to drive to work without some fool trying to race me. I would also like to not be called a "boy racer" I cant stand that !! or having references to Fast and furious, I would also love not to worry with every corner I take in the wet or slightly cold / damp weather. Now its easy to say get a RLTC system and just shrug off the comments and twats but then getting the car to handle well in the wet - means more money to spend, To be honest the amount of lost money (insurance, road tax etc) cos I haven't used the car and having to buy and insure another car to use while the weather is not good I cant see the benefit in a car that I can use only 6 months of the year.. really thinking about selling it now. Someone persuade me not to....

gaz1
with the price,s they are selling for at the moment should be reason enough to keep it:D
imi
Well Richard. RLTC is the answer in the wet, youre spending that on the safety of both yourself, your car and others. You drive a car that is very quick, it was never designed to be fuel economical or practical and yet for most it actually is.

Drive the car like you do now, but better. Sorted.

Babe
I'm a student... my insurance is almost £1,000 a year, I do about £350 a month in petrol, and I drive it all weathers even though it's like a duck on ice in the wet. Golf drivers drive me nuts, always want to race (and always fail miserably - when will they learn?), and BMWs are... well, they're BMWs aren't they, what do you expect! It may well be cheaper for me to have a second car as I'm up and down from Liverpool to London every other week, and the lack of boot is quite often a problem. But what's the point in having another car? I love my soop, couldn't imagine being without it. Guess it depends if you can see yourself without it... Rayman
haha, i get these racers all the time, loads of prats tailgating me etc. Just leave em to it, unless you fancy a play yourself, half of these racers have no idea how quick the supe is, just drive normal around em let em get on with it. So what if they drive like a twat just to get past you, ive had on mgzr nearly kill himself on a country road just to get one space further in front of me when he seen me in his mirrors, i couldnt give two hoots whether someone overtakes me or not. At the end of the day there just trying to get a reaction from you because in the back of there mind they know there driving inferior cars, they would much rather be driving a supra thats for sure! If you get rid you will miss it im sure!

Matt Harwood
To me, the Supra is a toy. It's probably my favourite toy, but I don't use it very often, and I'm sure some people would see it as a money-drain. Well it is, but I don't care. Most things in life are bought at 'x' amount, then sold at 'x' amount less. Until I get bored with it, or something more important comes up, I have no intention of selling it. If you're fed up with it or it irritates you, and don't want to spend any money on it, maybe that really is time to move on.
