im using dreamweaver and if i insert 2 pictures next to each other, it will only let me do 2 spaces between them, and the same for text anyone know why that is or how to have a bigger space between 2 pics?

i want to have pictures to represent links, but the pics are too close to each other and looks Sh1t.

cheers :)

hya mate,

way to do it is like this,.

im assuming in dreamweaver before you add any content like pics etc you are creating ( inserting) a table,.

the table should have a box for each piece of content ( content being pic, link etc )- and also 1 box for each space between content..

then the space between each pic ( table) can have its width set in the pop up box below in the lower left of the screen.

there should be a properties box displaying width and height of each table,.

just set the space to desired width etc and this will create the desired space ;)

Been years since I've used that. Don't know about the pictures, but for the text, SHIFT+RETURN in stead of RETURN

hey marco just tried that now but shift + enter takes me a line down, do you have any idea how to add more than 2 spaces between text.. i.e:

my - - - name is maz. etc? on there i can only press space bar twice and no more :(

tableless design and CSS structuring is the way forward :)

yep that ....

you could always put this in the code view

picture1.jpg

picture2.jpg

that would pad the second picture 50 picels to the right of the first picture.

or you code totally cheat and do this

picture1.jpg

picture2.jpg

&nbsp is a non breaking space and will push it over.... i wouldnt suggest doing it this way.

shout if you need a hand
