A couple of items bought based on this descripton, neither really lived up to expectations - I'm not going to kick up a fuss or anything, just be more careful in future At least I know that my "mint" is the same as everyone elses. Darren-K Posted October 22, 2006 Share Posted October 22, 2006 michael , i actualy work in the 2nd hand trade so many times have i been told by someone "yeh mate, its in mint condition" or "mint as " etc only to discover the item is tarnished in some way or form,. some people who use the term mint are often chavsters and there perception of mint is often way below mine . One was from a trader on here, the other wasn't - no specifics as I'm not planning to take it any further, I was more interested to check the "mint" thing was a universal declaration of something being 100% perfect.
