Hobgoblin
Well he has done it, and thoroughly deserved it was too.. Them muppets on ITV gave their "driver of the day" award to Schumi. WTF he made loads of errors. Just because he made up ground in clearly the fastest car. Driver of the day was JB for me.

imi
Why wasnt the driver of the day massa? Clean race, excellent pole position? schumi - was on fire though, was really exciting to watch him overtake raikennen. Welldone Alonso....2nd one, excellent. Bobbeh
Errors? He had engine trouble which cocked up his qualification and a puncture that set him way back down the field. He was 70 secs behind at one point and clawed that back to 20 odd.. easily the best driver there. It was a great race throughout for me.
2JG
Definately a great race to end the season on. wonder how JB would have faired if he didn't have that TC problem in qualifying? Well done to Alonso, he deserved it.
Kopite
Schumi definately driver of the day, didn't let the puncture affect him and make him do anything rash, great succession of fastest laps, especially when he had that fuel in! Great move on Kimi too, shame to see him go.

Bobbeh
Yeah, that comment from Kimi was awesome, I was just talking to my dad about how dull he was, then he comes out with that comment, classic
imi
It was very very funny, I couldn't stop laughing. Such an arrogant cock isnt he, bloody quick driver though, lets see how he does with ferrari. I really hope that Mclaren get their act next year
Bobbeh
Yeah, I hope they give Hamilton a go, he looks very promising.. and another Brit too! Looks to be a very interesting competition next year, lots of young talent mixed throughout.
imi
Still dont quite understand why Alonso went to Mclaren though. Renault being so strong and all. Is it really the money, if so, guys in the know, how much is the difference?
Bobbeh
I'd imagine McLaren with the backing from Mercedes have a lot more money and glamour than Renualt... I dont think its a step down for him only a step sideways.. Ferrari was filled with Kimi and Philipe.
SupraStar 3000
Great race and good to see Schumi go (although he is the best driver). Alonso is a great character and I love his attitude. Shame JB had TC issues on Saturday otherwise that would have been a win,... or maybe second

Fair point, must be the money then, cause staying with renault for a 3rd year surely would have improved his chances of a 3rd - surely that should be the priority - chasing records and let the money follow.
