Clonk from brakes

Hi guys, i need some help. when i touch my brakes i hear a clonk coming from the front.i have had it all checked just to make sure the pads werent loose.im still getting this sound, can anyone help?

How weird. I get a clonk from the back! I assumed it was a brake line come loose and on flexing was knocking against the body. I've asked Martin to take a look as the car is just receiving its finishing touches from the rebuild so I'll let you know if they find the reason.

Hi mate that would be great. its not affecting my braking but just want to be on the safe side.

Yeah, same here. No issue apart from sheer annoyance... and just loud enough for me to wind the window down sometimes to check the noise is still there!!!! Completely infuriating in stop and start traffic queues.

I recently had new discs and apparently the calipers were seized so they were taken apart and cleaned before putting back together.

Probably should have left them seized! ;)

Well I can't see whhy minew would be suspension when it clonks at 10mph on a perfectly flat road. My theory is soooo much cheaper to put right!

Doesn't happen at standstill though and the car is too low for me to strap my wife underneath to check it out when I am driving!

Hi,

I have had the same problem for a while and havent actually solved it yet,all brakes are ok, i have replaced both motor mounts, shockers and anti roll bar ok??????i can get the clunk start / stopping and sometimes when turning, didnt know whether it might be the control arm bushes, top or bottom??

its really annoying..
