aido
Took my car to UPAuto in Notts today to have the Defi stuff I bought off Shaf all sorted out as we had a few wires missing to the control box when we'd attempted the install a few days before and didn't have a multimeter handy to locate the correct wires in the harness... Anyway, the Aristo has a bleed valve fitted to it to up the boost slightly, stock the car runs around 0.7 - 0.8 bar I think, well with the boost guage in situ it's peaked at just over 1.2 bar at WOT and seems to be constant at around 1.1 bar under pressure, or 1.2 bar with PWR mode activated. Definitely time to look at the fuelling and a proper boost controller next anyway! The thing is I think that both cats are still in place, so I'm not exactly sure what the power output will be, but I'm guessing it's none too shabby The only problem is I can't stop watching the boost guage now, never had one before so I'm like a kid with a new toy
Suprasteve
be careful cos the weathers getting colder and therefore the boost will increase further. plus should get the cats off as the exhaust temps will get very high - which is not good at all. This will seriously increase bhp. Finally may want to get yourself a better fuel pump too to cope with fueling. good luck.
