Scooter
Does anyone know the purpose of the padding / matting on the inside of the undertray? Its just that when i removed this recently (after a major car clean) it was soaking and weighed a ton? can it just be removed?
Terminator
What matting /padding? I don't have any.
Alex
You should have it on....but it's your choice. Think its fireproof matting.

Alex
Urethane would be better for longevity...but aluminium would also be a good bet.

Alex
It's on a Skyline there isn't it? R34 I believe...would be nice if the Supra had something similar.

Syed Shah
Mine has the padding removed, it was absolutely filthy. Probably not too important as long as the plastic tray is still there. The JUN Supra had a full aluminium flat panel under the car, so probably wise, would need some careful thought though.
Grazer
Anyone got any idea how to source one of these undertrays (just stock)? Mine met with a sticky end - rabbit vs supra @ 140 leptons Local Toyota place had no idea what I was talking about!
SimonB
Part number 51420-14010 according to the EPC, it's the no.2 undertray (assuming you're talking about the front one that attaches to the front bumper). I think they're around £100+VAT.
