Angarak
My dad just lost over 2 stone in around 8 weeks using a medically backed diet called "Lipotrim". I think most chemists sell it over the counter (its not prescription). If your interested you should seek your doctors opinion first as he may not think its suitable for you. My dad said it was one of the easiest diets he's been on as it reduced his cravings for food which you usually get with other diets.

Bob
At the start of June this year I was 16st 4.5ib. I joined Weight watchers - whilst it was one of the most embarassing moments of my life, I am now down to 14stone, and I fully intend to lose another 7ib before my honeymoon this christmas. I've lost 4" off my waist and feel a lot better. I used to think that I could do to lose a stone or so, as I've laways been well built. After I lost the 1st stone, there was hardly any difference! I'm 6' btw, and can't do any running / long walking / cycling due to a FUBAR'd knee joint Good luck mate.
Kranz
God, I logged on this morning and thought I was on the Cosmopolitan mag forum I've always resembled a praying mantis, and actually have difficulty putting weight on 6"2' and 13.5 stone makes me somewhere near the bottom of the BMI scale. Note to self - Must eat more lard
Thorin
I think I got up to 16 stone at my heaviest, I'm 6 foot. I eat crap anyway (I don't eat salad, or fruit, and nothing green), but for me it was drinking loads of pop and eating crisps. Cut out all them and joined a gym. I lost 2 stone in two months. When you're that much of a fat git it's easy to lose weight in the beginning.
RIJ8631
I think if you trained hard in early years and then suddenly give up all sport for some reason, you automatically start to put on weight very quickly. This happened to me about 10 years back, crippled myself at the footie (crutiate ligaments) and stopped exercising 4/5 nights per week. Have put on 5 stone since, was up to 17 stone last month and have since lost 1 stone by swimming and cutting out the shite food. Long way to go to get back to 12 stone, but have started the recovery. Always too easy to make excuses for not exercising ( I've just ran out of excuses) Good luck to all who are trying to lose weight. cheers Ian
