Green Peace
I just typed it into my satnav! "Our Father who art in Hendon, Harrow be thy name. Thy Kingston come, Thy Wimbledon, In Erith as it is in Heston. Give us this day our daily Brent. And lead us not into Thames Ditton. For thine is the Kingston, the Putney and the Goring. For ever and ever, Crouch End."

Give us this day our Berkhampstead And forgive us our Westminsters As we forgive those who Westminster against us. Lead us not into Temple Station And deliver us from Ealing, For thine is the Kingston The Purley and the Crawley, For Iver and Iver Crouch End

Jake
I loved ID. He always seemed like he just didn't give a fuck. I don't usually like artistic people much but he was really cool.

How can you say you dont like artistic people, wow thats a strong statement lol thats like saying you dont like people that drink Coffee Theres artists and theres ARTISTS I spose lol...I mean look at the Pet Shop Boys lol..what are they all about, they are just computer geeks who just happen to be lucky enough to own a Fairlight.(never understood what talent they were supposed to have) Ian Dury wouldn't get through the X factor these days I guess..but hes an entertainer and a great Lyricist and didn't let his handicap stop him.(great set at Glastonbury but on too long lol, then followed by another long set from Elvis Costello (trying to be Buddy Holly doh) I love all the warts n all that era would of loved to have seen Freddy Mercury Live as a kid...my big regret. The music biz seems to have gone all purist these days, but i spose its better than Fairlight Music born in a bedrrom studio of the 80's like Pet Shop Boys. I'd like to write a song called 'People who wear media glasses are not real artists' lol. So what is it you particularly dont like about Artists Jake? GLENN STONEHAM
I loved ID. He always seemed like he just didn't give a fuck. I don't usually like artistic people much but he was really cool. Yeh, he was a character indeed & probably his disability gave him that special I dont care attitude. He came from Hornchurch/Upminster in Essex & at one time drove around in a decent rolls or bentley with one of the doors sprayed a totally different colour so as to look like he"d got it from a breakers yard. Just to say "up yours".

Jake
How can you say you dont like artistic people So what is it you particularly dont like about Artists Jake? Artistic is such a broad term, I was thinking of "arty farty" people like school art teachers and hippy types. (I think Dury was an art teacher and did a lot of painting)
Green Peace
Artistic is such a broad term, I was thinking of "arty farty" people like school art teachers and hippy types. (I think Dury was an art teacher and did a lot of painting) I loved art at school it was equivelent to playing truant:D Know what ya mean though, i hate people in the media who think they are artists, the ones who wear 'media glasses' or try to look different to make up for the fact they have no personality or no real skill. The other thing i hate is people who stick a pair of smelly trainers on a plinth or a pile of tyres on top of each other and call it art. But i do think Car styling is a form of art, i mean look at the amount of people that get it wrong and the small few that get it so right..yeah thats art in my opinion anyhow lol. But with you on the Hippy art teachers though, send em all to another planet along with Documentary Producers and Hairdressers (like in Hitchhikers)all completely uselless:D
