aido
One of them even had the whole lot without a drink. That's actually the best way to do it mate - anything carbonated only makes the pain worse - coke, beer etc. I find that if you even just drink water it makes the pain worse and you just sweat it straight out. Best way is not to drink and then at the end neck a pint as quick as you can to rehydrate yourself
paul_y3k
phall's easy if ye have the knowing ..... several pints along with far to many cigggys and the tastebuds are taken out of action. only ever do one when I'm very wasted lol and yes i regret it in the morning. toyotatom
Our cupboard at home in the kitchen is full of hot sauces for food and mainading food in. The mrs has her sauces in a different cupboard "so they arent contaminated by the flavour destroyers" as she refers to them. Ah shut up woman. Just 'cause you cry after one mouthful of a Zinger Tower burger!!!
aido
Ah shut up woman. Just 'cause you cry after one mouthful of a Zinger Tower burger!!! I went in there yesterday and asked if they did spicy Zinger towers - had them before and never even noticed they were spicy! Gonna have to get myself another bottle of Ultimate Insanity sauce, that stuff rocks

GeordieSteve
Ha ha, Im the hardest man of all ever (in terms of eating curry) One Phall, one Vindaloo, one Keema Naan, and one Pilau rice....IN ONE SITTING!! Come to Newcastle... we have the worlds hottest curry (magmaloo).
Kranz
I was once threatened with a Chicken Chilli Bhun (I think its called) when I said that a Phall was not spicy enough. Aparently my local indian needed a week to get the ingredients in from India as they're not available in the UK. Needless to say I turned them down and stuck to the Phall, which they tried their best to kill me with

aido
any one treid blairs insanity sauce .. or after death or megadeath sauce ???? now thats hot ! Yeah mate, used to have a bottle of Ultimate Insanity and Megadeath sauce on my desk at work. They sent me home one day as I went round the office giving it to people and they were all going home sick The megadeath seems much hotter initially but wears off quick whereas ultimate insanity sauce is a bitch and it takes 20 minutes to get feeling back in your mouth! At JAE a few years back we (LOC and TOC) had a bet for someone to hold a capfull of Ultimate Insanity sauce in their mouth for 3 mins, one of the IMOC lot did it I think and got 300 quid, they were in tears though, respect to them, I was pissed and tried afterwards and managed it but had the sauce pouring out my nose, if was horrible I tell you! Kranz
This sounds about as strong as the Captor spray police use. Its basically synthetic pure Capsaicin pepper, which registers 16 million on the heat scale !! For police use its watered down a bit to 0.3%... so that lowers it to 48000, but still not too pleasant in the eyes and up the nose And it can be used to cook with too This explains how spice heat is measured: http://users.visi.net/~mandy/pepguide.html Edit - Just ordered a vindaloo. All this talk of curry has got me really hungry
Charlotte
I clicked on the thread entitled 'curry' and thought it was going to be about who's favourite curry is what. Stupidly I clicked on the last post first and now I'm completely confused!
toyotatom
My Dad was in the Bluewater shopping centre with my Mum when a woman from the Oil and Vinegar store stopped him and asked if he like to try one of their exciting new products. "Yes" says he, and takes the plastic teaspoon full of sauce and sticks the lot in his cake hole. "No!!" says the woman, "Thats Mama Africa's Hot Zulu Sauce! One or two drops is more than enough to spice up a meal for four!!" But her cries come too late as the stuff starts to take effect. To cut a long and incredibly funny story short, my Dad ended up curled in a ball on the floor outside the shop during peak hours on a saturday with tears streaming down his face. My Mum? She left him there and went in the shop to buy me some because she thought I'd like it. And I do!
