JamieP
With the Motec too you can have a rotary switch with multiple boost settings if you want, I just don't know why you'd bother. Apart from if you wanted a different map for race fuel. Yea i agree... i also agree with what alex has said regarding leaving your car somewhere for work to be done... i trust the people that work on my car so makes no odds to me:) The different map for rd or race fuel is on another switch as its not just a case of changing the boost:)
Ian C
I switch boost settings depending on weather and mood. But then it's a couple of button presses on the dash rather than changing a rotary switch in the footwell As for passwording the map, it's not only customers tinkering that you have to watch out for, but also that customer taking their car elsewhere and suddenly that place offers maps for singled-supras, using your map as their base... On the other hand, if the map is sub-optimal, as Jake found out it can be a nightmare getting it fixed, you are tied into the people who didn't do it right in the first place... -Ian
Wez
You are tied into the people who didn't do it right in the first place... -Ian This would be my main concern, I do not like the idea of being tied to the same supplier. EDIT: just to add I can see the suppliers side on this as well though.
