Darragh
i turn it off when im racing especially drag racing as it kills to much power but when im cruising its turned on as i dont want it stepping out when im not prepared:d
Underworld
Never dared turn it off lol. Had my back end come out one too many times, and prefer to keep the tread on my wheels
nismo_lp
off with the rear end coming out is the best bit Turning it off is the 1st thing i do when i get in the car.
imi
I disabled the stock traction control system and use my RLTC instead.
Guest Supra_Kid
ive been told it uses more petrol is this true lol, and say your doin drags how much time are you likley to loose, or points of a second:d i was allways under the impression that if u were to do drags having better traction off the line would be better,

Rich
use the stock TC if you want to end up in a ditch or facing the wrong way at a T junction. IMO -either turn it off and learn to drive the car or fork out for RLTC:)

chris aka fonz
Open door , put seatbelt on fire her up and turn it off
tDR
Open door , put seatbelt on fire her up and turn it off Yep, turning it off should be part of your startup routine, if not completely disabled like mine. Stock TC on a Supra endangers lives.
Bobbeh
JDM traction control maybe
DannyW
Is the stock traction control really that bad? surely it isn't intrusive if you drive to the road conditions?
rob wild
I always have it off Ever since I first bought the car, pull out of my road turning right the road was wet, the TC kick in and left the car with no power to pull out and i was in the middle of the road!!! So now I have RLTC which malfunctioned the other week and stall the engine whist driving down the road. So I’m defaulting to my old traction control system is my right foot
heckler
Traction control? what traction control? I removed mine.
Feakins
Standard traction control on mine seems pretty good. If you have you put it on full throttle and its really wet then it was kill lots of the power but if you are careful it just cuts a little power for me. Unless mine has been tweaked in Japan. Pig
Turn it off, its shit.....sometimes it will save you, sometimes it will make things worse. But most of all, its a pita. BUY RLTC, cant sing its praises enough!
downimpact
Mine's off, but i don't turn it off when i start up, it's off all the time unless i turn it on. Though it doesn't light on the dash, unless i lose traction in which case it tells me and/or cuts power if i had the traction control on. I've heard that when drag racing it's actually bad to have the traction control on as you put a lot of stress through it?
colsoop
Ditch it
