Nic
Is it me or do they look like the facelift finish on them? Definitely pre-facelift panels, they do look a little different though when they are new and they are a lot more hard wearing. I bought a new panel recently that I wanted to strip to get coated, the rubber coating was very difficult/impossible to get off by normal means (meths and rubbing). I'm not sure whether this is down to just the aging of the panels or whether the coating on the new panels was made more durable.
Nic
Received my set of new dash panels recently (thanks to Nic @ Import Pimp). Really easy to fit and look fantastic I'm glad you're pleased with the results, the dash looks great I notice you don't have the retractable mirror switch on the ignition panel. The ignition panel is only available with this hole included now, it is not possible to get them without it. Toyota do a blanking piece that fits in the hole, the part number is 55539-14060. Sorry I should have asked you if you needed this or not, I can either order you one (which would take a few weeks) or I guess your local dealer will be able to get one. They only cost a couple of quid. Let me know if you need help getting one.
MrHanky
Cheers for the info Nic and thanks again for the panels, I couldnt be happier with the results and have been hinting at mark (MrHanky) to get a set for his new Supe but he has settled for me cleaning up his old ones! damn it, forgot to log MrHanky out again! Rogue
Cheers! I think they look great. I know lots of people are painting them now but its not my thing. each to their own I have some old panels if anyone is interested. The centre console, bit around the speedo etc and the bit above the speedo etc have been painted patent black (not a very good job) but if anyone is interested let me know
