Marty
As part of doing the single conversion, you need to cap off a few coolant ends which are no longer needed, two up the top close to the radiator, and one by where the downpipe will sit. They are 10mm. Anybody know where i can get my greasy mitts on some 10mm cap ends? preferably made of rubber so they go over the ridged end of the pipes. Again, ive tried tweeks, useless, and ive also been to b+q, thinking that maybe there would be some in the plumbing section, there is, but they are made of hard plasic, and are the push fit type, basically, i dont trust them. Id rather some that i can put a jubilee (pardon spelling) clip around, so i know its not going to pop off without me knowing.
LeeT
The ones on the water neck next to the rad can be pullled out and then drilled and tapped. Then you can block them off with a bolt/grub screw. The water line at the rear is usually blocked off by just siliconing a bolt into a 9mm water pipe, crude i know but everyone does it
Marty
Was thinking about drilling and tapping the ones up top. Was also tempted with the bolt in pipe idea but thought it was too dodgy but if everyone does it.. who am i to be the black sheep thanks for the advice Lee
