I had the same feelings my mechanic decided to switch them to true twin and the car sounded awful until the turbos kicked in, and i actually lost 2 seconds down the strip due to this.

You should be looking at a remap and boost controller to make use of the TTC setup. When done correctly it's actually (arguably) easier to launch. I found exactly that and loved every minute of TTC until I went single and forgot what it stood for
