Paul R
Hi, I just came back from the JapUK car meet at Mascarat Manor. As I pulled off of a slip road something wierd happened. I accelerated quite hard in 4th and it felt like the rear drivers side of the car went down and there was a slight pull to one side. This happened twice more on the way home, the last time I was in 5th and accelerated - again the same thing. I stopped thinking it might be a flat tyre or something, but they were all OK. I pulled off again and floored it.....everything seems fine again. What the hell was that??? Paul.

dk_supra
Maybe lower front control arm bushings. Mine did that ordered new ones from Curt Toyota in Chicago for dirt cheap, replaced the control arms and brand new again and no sounds. eyefi
jack it up and have a look at the rear suspension linkages. make sure everything is fastened together and to torque spec (mkiv.com). check the subframe bolts as well (a search will show u what to do), i doubt the subframes r yr problem but worth a check. the brake caliper sounds a good possibility too.
