Gazboy
Couple of questions- I thought the 1Jz was a parallel twin set up? This kit can make equal power as GT3037s- so what is this kit masquerading as then? The original HKS car had GT2530's.
Alex
The advert is bollox but the turbo's real. Basically they are Hybrids...like any others...but they were built by HKS. 450BHP tops. 3037's can make 450 EACH! And they arn't for a 1JZ...they are for a 2JZ... Chris Wilson
I think they are 1JZ Soarer or late MKIII Supra, parallel ones, not sequential for the 2JZ.

Hmm the wastegate arrangement made me think otherwise...but you could be right...can you explain why you think it's a parallel kit?
Chris Wilson
They have the wrong flange to bolt to the exhaust valve stuff, I am 90% sure these are Soarer 1JZ ones.
Alex
Ok fair enough - stand corrected.

Chris Wilson
On a Soarer engine, yes.
Suprash
On a Soarer engine, yes. I thought the Soarer used the same as engine, 2JZ ??? Im hunting for a big twin sequential setup, does such a thing exist yet ??
Alex
They are called Hybrids...the Soarer uses the 1JZ-GTE and the 2JZ-GE and the 1UZ-FE.
