ManwithSupra
Looks ok - a bit to 350z for my liking Would be good if Toyota released the "new supra" at the same time - doubt it though http://www.worldcarfans.com/spyphotos.cfm/country/jcf/spyphotoID/6061010.003/nissan/spy-photos-nissan-skyline-gt-r

supRo
Is there another model inbetween the R34 and this one? I saw one about 2 months ago on the M25 - Very much like the one in this picture and similar to the 350Z. Had the skyline badge in the middle - Was racing against a scooby STI and wasn't doing very well! Just wished i had my supra and I would have shown them both! Terminator
I suspect Toyota will let Nissan release the Skyline first to ensure the MKV is better. Too 350Z for me.
Matt H
Yeah its does look mean! nothing reallt remarkable but then again it is covered up!! Come on MKV Supra!! Even if toyota bring out a super car or lexus do, unless it is called a supra then it jsut wouldnt be the same regardless of how good it is. Mike
Reportedly, the car will be equipped with a 4.5-litre V8 delivering some 450 bhp Wasn't this the one they had in Top Gear magazine months back...? or maybe that was the 'concept' version... I think it looks mean as hell!!
lust2luv
5 litre V8 hardtop / 4.5 litre V8 convertible Mkv Supra is supposed to be out around the same time according to Road and Track (completely separate car to the Lexus LFA). Sounds like the infiniti skyline (G35) i think, much like the 350z but not as nice or as fast. I really hope they stick with the inline 6 and not the V8. Cant wait for the new GT-R and the MKV, should make an interesting comparison.
Alex
The "Skyline GTR" doesn't exist anymore. It's now the "GTR" (ala This new prototype/R33/34 etc) Or the "Skyline" (G35 Infinity - 4 seater 350z)

Yes, I think it was this because there were a few for sale in Autotrader when I looked!

RedM
Why are people still going on about the mkV Supra? It isn't a Supra now and won't be when it's released. Toyota would need to call it a Supra for it to be one and I don't think they are, are they? Sheesh, it's like saying the Aristo is a Supra with four doors and a boot. No it isn't, it's an Aristo. Conrad
A vid of the GTR here: gt-r Not sure how much the finished article will look like this but I'm loving the front and arches but not keen on the rear. Still the only new car coming out that I would drive instead of a Supra though.
ivan
From the J-Tuner "Man in Japan" column this month: "The Celica and MR2 models have both been discontinued, joining a long list of sports cars that haven't made it into newer generations, but this trend is set to change soon... Come 2007, we hope to see the introduction of new hot metal in the form of the Supra, as well as... (something about Evos & Scoobies). Beyond that, on the horizon is the new GT-R, and Mazda continue to hint at the possibility of a brand-new RX-7 without saying exactly when it might be put into production." So it looks like there may be 'interesting times ahead'.
