JustGav
Yeah, but they are even better when you rinse them out and hang them on the line and re-use them at a later stage.
how_supra
What about pyramids? They fall into the triangle category. And after much scientific study the results suggest that round ones still taste better.
Mike
It tastes different whatever part of the country your in.... in the South (Portsmouth) it's PG Tips.. and in the North (Middlesbrough) you can actually be shot for drinking anything other than Yorkshire Gold.... All to do with the funny water they have down here... you can't 'brew' your tea down here like you can up north... you get funny bit's in it if you do... ..not quite sure what shape either tea bags are by the way..? Yeah but when you experiment with different types of tea bag in the same place, with the same mug, then you will be able to confirm that I am correct. Thorin
The "one bag makes two cups" thing is a lie, one bag makes 4 cups easy.

how_supra
Okay keep up - imagine you - in one place, with one cup, and three tea bags. The round one will taste better. Now stop being so sensible with the hard water soft water thing.
Charlotte
I agree, the water definitely makes a different cup of tea depending where you are. I am guilty of adding milk before the water as well which I'm forever being told off for. Edit:- ok ok, if I *had* to make a choice (depending on water ) it would be round. I think you get better squeezing action.

Charlotte
Shut it you. That's wrong in so many ways. But but, I put the milk in and then I pour the water onto the bag so it still gets full coverage. I don't like the hard water deposits you get if you don't put milk in first. There is a method to my madness. I get told off for adding the sugar why the tea bag is still in the cup for some reason. That's odd, I'd put it in at the start. edd_t
I always put milk in first, it cools the tea down a little aswell and pyramids taste best! although i prefer assam tea
Mike
but the tea *NEEDS* boiling water... if the temperature is less than boiling then you might as well give up right there and then....
