Guest GirlRacer!
Hi guys! I think my cigarette lighter fuse has blown - the Road Angel worked perfectly for my last long motorway trip and now it's not getting any power to it but works perfectly in other cars. Any idea where the fuse is? I've tried to do a search on here and seems it's the box in the driver's footwell, not under the bonnet, but anyone know which fuse it is? (as I bet there's probably loads!!) I'll have a look when I get chance anyway, see if I can't work it out... but I need my Road Angel back in action asap in case my right foot gets too excited and I get my first brush with the law!! heehee! Guest GirlRacer!
Thanks for being such a sweetie - the info really helped x Found the fuse box in the driver footwell (such an easy place to get to... lol!) and got the right fuse, but it hasn't blown. Should've known really as I realised after that the aircon was still working fine. Oh well, got bigger problems to sort first - turns out my tyres are 235 all round instead of just at the front so gunna need to get me some 255's or 265's for the back. Trouble is, the alloys all look the same size to me so don't know if the wider tyres will go on them. Sounds like this might be the perfect excuse for some new wheels if you ask me!!! Thanks again for your help mate
AJI
No problem. Yeah, your tyres really need to be wider on the back. 255's should be a good balance for 235's on the front, but no harm done if you go for 265's. But as you say, you will need to check if your rims can take that width first.
Dave F
Forgot to mention this on the southern gumball, but my road angel stopped working and it turned out to be the cable that goes into the lighter from the angel. Might be worth checking. Dave
