Still on stock TC and tranny for the moment. New box and TC is on the way! :)

The lag is similar to TTC, except it comes on full about 400rpm sooner. You will see positive boost around 2000rpm and I noticed today that idle is alot less vacum than stock.

Btw, sorry for not ringing on Fri Dave. It was quite a long day and I didnt make it home till late. I'll phone you tomorrow about arrangements.

Dont get me wrong, the thing comes online like a bang and youre gone. By no means would I say its undriveable, so long as you dont drive like a twat.

There are loads of big single Supras in the US that are daily drivers. Cant be all that bad!

i believe both doug and i were the first passengers in J's car on Sat and what a beast it was. i was cringing from the sounds coming from the engine - i would have swore blind that wastegate sound was the engine blowing up every single time.

between the flames coming out the back, the noise and the severe lack of traction - it was one hell of a ride! the sense that you get when it pins you back is both scary and exhilarating (sp?) at the same time. people were going ga-ga over it !

J - congrats on a great car mate ....

now go get rltc, bigger brakes and new tyres !! :p

in the beginning, i was a little nervous coz there is so little room to manouvre in the city especially with your lack of traction or TC everytime you put your foot down. but once i got the hang of anticipating the turbos coming online - what a rush !!! doug looked a little green that night i must admit ! thanks for the ride J.

Just got back from a meet up with Jason.

Had a drive in the now single car.

Effing NOISEY

Effing FAST

Effing WANT ONE

Was a real eye opener and much, much better than i had have thought.

The power delivery once on decent boost is amazing for a relatively small turbo.........and keeps you pinned into the seat until you brake.

The noise of the Turbo and Ext wastegate could be easily heard above my Nur spec and loud music with my windows in the UP position and i was inside my car.

Will be interesting to see the gains with the High stall fitted.

Cheers for the ride and your help Jason.

Catch up again Saturday.

Was great fun mate. Glad you enjoyed! :) I think I am going to invest in earplugs with the Aerotop off. It still has me floored how loud that ext wastegate is!

So, when are you getting yours? :flame Dev

dave - so now you want a single eh ? funnee ...... had the same thought after the ride :innocent: :D

i agree the lag is not such a major factor (was expecting far worse) and the responsiveness when on-boost is surprising to say the least.

however ........... i STILL prefer the sequential delivery ! maybe i'm just a lazy driver that can't wait for the surge and prefer that 2nd kick :(

:)
