Rob
As I understand it, by adding a convertor, such as Thor's little gizmo, you can only start counting in miles from that point on. Meaning you will have to do some mental arithmetic everytime you want to check your total mileage. Also, as said many times before, when you come to sell it, you'll have to explain to the potential buyer "well, it says, xxx xxx, but the first xxxxx is in Kms, and then the last xxxxx is miles, but added to the first set of Kms, so the total mileage is xxxx less than it actually says" then the buyer thinks "so he's clocked it, and I didn't understand a word of what he just said, erm, I think I'll stick to UK cars" To summarize, get the car de-limited but leave the odometer counting in Km, is my advice.
