does it actually go off or just come up with page cannot be displayed

i.e do you have to redial before you can view any other pages

The internet conection just stops working i have to reboot the modem, before i can go back online, its broadband so not a dial up.

yeah but the modem still dials up on broadband

If it kills your connection completely so you can view any other pages ive no clue but if it works on other pages then probably just myspace having problems. try a factory default on your router

can you look for a RANDOM profile on myspace? Chances are you're viewing the pages that you've seen before, and have cached them in memory anyway. You're probably not on the internet at all.... maybe a dodgy broadband line..

Do you have the ability to check something else? Perhaps outlook email or something, see if that works?

yea mate its only ever this site i can get on and can alter my profile etc etc its only when i browse,or try to look at another profile, and once it happens my internet connection is totally disconnected, you can tell from the modem itself as well as the cable light goes off and the status flashes meaning its offline and needs reboot, when it happens,i have cleared the catch and the connection is fine, its only this site

Could it be a myspace problem?

It doesn't really sound like its a problem with your end, especially if you can do anything else BAR looking at myspace profiles...

I'm just totally guessing now, but i'd do a quick scan for spyware and viruses just in case, but i seriously doubt thats the problem at all.
