AGAIN!!!! did the other pump go in??

Yep. Thats 3 pumps in 48 hours he's been through! I'm running out of them. :D My guess is the cap on the pots nakered, or the pots warped during the polishing process and not giving a good enough seal round the cap.

:) just scanned through this and I thought you were trying to fix a gas boiler with Supra spare parts. Must concentrate.

They are atm Ewen:d The thermo couple is probably fooked and that kicks in a safety feature that will not light the boiler..suana duval one that is:taped:

Unlikely a baxi solo is on a pressurised system. Sounds like its got lack of gas or possibly the pilot injector is blocked. You may need to get a gas engineer out mate. I would come down but its miles!! :search:

PS there is no thermocouple on a baxi solo 2.

nah youre thinking of a boiler stat. good knowledge tho :)

The thermocouple send a signal to the gas valve that the pilot is present

Thinking about it now..yeah i'm thinking of the thing that sits on the pipe. and the thermocouple sits in the flame of the pilot to let the boiler know the pilot is on. so keep the gas coming.. My bad:blink: for the pilot light that is..
