Soop Dogg Posted October 8, 2006 Share Posted October 8, 2006 Re the comments about Beagles being noisey. I've had a Beagle and it never made a nuisance of itself by barking at all. It was probably the quietest dog I've ever had. Very loveable too! One thing though - they're a hound, so be prepared for when they pick up a scent of something, especially if they are off the lead. My beagle would go deaf when it found a scent! Tail went straight up in the air and nose was on the ground. Wouldn't respond no matter what I threatened to do! I guess this might be something you could train out of a young puppy. Mine was a couple of years old when I got her. Names: what about Snoopy and Woodstock/Woody.
