JohnA
Again, we have 'bling' parts replacing properly designed stock ones. I'm glad you are now considering the other implications (safety, stiffness etc) as most people just go ahead and fit all sorts of overpriced rubbish* Like every modern car, the supra has passed strict crash tests, every panel and bar is expected to behave in a specific way during a crash (in an effort to keep the occupants intact). Every Dick and Harry think they can 'better' by replacing the proper parts with poorly-thought aftermarket bits They are usually labelled 'not for road use', in a desperate attempt to avoid litigation when something goes wrong. In the event of an accident you risk the insurance company refusing to pay if you have swapped CF body panels and they don't know about it. * for static display cars they might be fine, but not necessarily for everyday road use
JohnK
Disreguarding safety for a minute. If some of these so called CF door retain a lot of steel, whats the point in them, they cant be saving enough weight to justify the cost. Same applies for the door cards if they have a lot of fibreglass in them.
