Flipfinger
http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/parts/no_door_handles/SupraDrivers.jpg How do I do this? Presumably taking out the handles is simple enough, and then filler-ing in where the holes were - but how do you get in the thing? Looks nice.... Branners
remote solenoid release via a spare channel on the alarm? Im sure it can be done on a clifford or similar. I dont think it will pass the MOT though as they have to have a way in to the car from the outside. You can delock the things but you cannot remove the handles (or that could be plain old bllcks...) looks nice though. JB
Phil Wall
You will have to have an extra servo fitted to your central locking that pops the door lock off the catch. Or leave the window open
Flipfinger
Pretty good though, isn't it. And less nickable too I'd wager! I'll have a word with some people 'in the know' about MOTs and get their input.
Phil Wall
I think you are right John. I have only seen no handles on cars outside the UK.
Alex
I think some de-handled cars have push button releases mounted under the sill below the door....watch for it in Gone in 60 secs....

Alex
To me it looks like the sort of bodykit you'd get on a Capri. But each to his or her own. Flipfinger, Contact a local garage and ask them what the MOT hand book says about handles....

Branners
the rear bumper looks very much like a Blitz...side skirts could be blitz as well and the rear spoiler might be TRD or Rod Millen (available in shop!!). JB

Flipfinger
Steering the Good Ship Mkivsupra.net back onto course, I was thinking about my door handle removal last night and the implications to the MOT... And then I remembered seeing an article on this chap's BMW 5 or 7-series a while back that had no door handles. And he lived in the UK. So unless it's something new to the MOT, I can only surmise it's legal. I'm off to my local bodyshop on Friday to have the spoiler fitted, I'll ask how much removing, filler-ing, finishing and painting would cost and let you good people know.
