JamieP
As it's getting street use, I'd go with the Pro S 10w-50 to get the best cold and hot protection. It's good up to about 150C average with higher peaks. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68898-fuchs-titan-race-pro-s-10w-50-ester-synthetic-engine-oil.aspx It's a step up in quality from the Mobil 1. Cheers Tim Thanks, just placed an order for 4 cans.

little num
Do you use the same oil in the 1JZ James? Yes mate, i even used it in my N/A lol, bloody good stuff as well, i always use cheap £12 - 5 litres to wash the engine out before i put the good stuff in as i find it stays cleaner for longer. Cheers Tim That is really good to know, I was getting worried about seeing 120+. So I can keep my foot in longer. I think I'll raise my warning temp after reading that. Best news I have read all week. Just one question with more and more of us running higher rev limits 9000 10000 rpm, have you any advice re time between oil changes. oilman
In a standard/lightly modded car, it's good for 10k/annual changes. With modifications and harder (track) use, that figure gets reduced. Pro S is good for 10 solid hours of track use (although recently it was absolutely fine after a 24 hours in a Golf in the Britcar 24hr) so it takes a bit of judgement based on what the car gets used for. I would think changes at 5-7k if yours is a heavily modded road car
Andrew K
I'm after a 10w40 fully synthetic oil for my N/A supra, wonderd which oil you would recommend? oilman
If you want a fully synthetic 10w-40, go for the Millers CFS, Redline, Motul 300V or Gulf Competition. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-657-10w-40.aspx Cheers Tim
